Second Time
Around for Diana and Jade |

Diana Stevens and her Labrador retriever bitch, Jade, won the GWF
Nutrition sponsored Working Gundog section at Crufts. This was the
second time they have taken the Best Labrador Bitch title in the
Gamekeeper Class, having won in 2007.
Since winning at that show five and a half-year old Jade has had
three litters, two to show bred champions and one to a field trials
champion. Diana stresses that although the BASC Gamekeeper Class is
large all dogs have to qualify by working a full season on a recognised
shoot. The gamekeeper signs a declaration for the dog to qualify then
judging is on conformation and looks, showing that fit dogs, capable of
serious work, can also be beautiful.
Diana discovered the benefits of Joint Aid for Dogs having received
it as part of the prize in her previous win at Crufts. She now uses it
for all her older dogs and was pleased to receive even more. She and
Jade are seen being presented with the Joint Aid for Dogs Trophy by GWF
Nutrition’s International Sales Manager, Nigel Timms (top) and on the
GWF Nutrition stand with with NIgel Timms and Stephen Tucker MD (bottom)
