The following information is provided as a
guide only. It is important to appreciate that all horses are different and, as such,
require different levels of nutrition depending on size, environment and discipline. In
all cases, however, horses should be fed according to workload. |

1. |
Reduce hard feeds
from day 1 by 50%
|
2.
|
Introduce the
recommended daily level of Equilibra 500 over a period of 4 days (25%, 50%, 75%,
100%).
|
3.
|
Split the total
daily amount between the number of feeds.
|
4.
|
Gradually reduce the remaining
hard feeds over the next 7 to 10 days. For horses in maintenance or light work these
can normally be removed completely. For horses required to give maximum effort an
additional energy source, such as Tiger Oats, may be required.
